Tripsitter
Standard Issue Pleasure Model
Tripsitter is a meditation on psychedelic experiences, addiction, yearning, and self-discovery. With sonic landscapes ranging from aggressive and raucous (Acid Punk & Biig Triip) to lush and relaxed (Call Me Tomorrow & Space Case), Tripsitter paints a quasi-autobiographical picture of the band over the course of the last 5 years.

Discovering the art
The cover for the single, “Space Case,” is a photograph from Niagara falls taken by Shea's (lead guitarist) Mom in the '90s [left] that has some unique water damage in the corner. We had always loved the trippy nature of this photograph, so when I discovered my roommates photo album abandoned and out in the elements, I was intrigued to see what the photos might look like.
I was not prepared for how cool these ones would turn out!
I attempted to dry the photographs using my blow dryer on a low setting with the diffuser attachment to prevent distorting the images further. After getting them dry enough to pick up with my hands, I transported them to my radiator and allowed them to dry for a few hours before stringing them across the ceiling with some string and clothing pins.
